Data, in its simplest form is a collection of facts and statistics and is most often found in a very raw form. These facts and statistics can't tell us anything on their own but……..
…..when we gather them up, aggregate, filter, slice, dice, and sort this data, all of a sudden we have information.
With information we can learn more about the processes that produce that data and how to optimize them. These processes can be anything from an application that tracks production to sales data from a cash register. Once you begin to interpret the information, you then gain a level of understanding to be able to produce insights on how you can grow your business.
